( The Hill) — The White House on Thursday unveiled details for its trade deal with the European Union (EU). The Trump administration said EU counterparts have agreed to eliminate all tariffs on industrial goods imported from the U.S. and to widen preferential market access to U.S. seafood and agricultural products.

The U.S. will impose a 15% tariff on imports of European cars, pharmaceuticals and other products, according to a joint statement announced Thursday by the Trump administration and European Union.

The carefully choreographed European talks sought to curb the US cronyism with Putin seen in Alaska and increase pressure on Moscow to agree to negotiations with Kyiv
