A Hurricane man has been arrested and charged after allegedly starting a fire at a park in Southern Utah that cost more than $20,000 in damages and fire response.

A 30-year-old man from Utah, identified as Eric Charles Meszaros, was found dead in the Willamette River near West Linn, Oregon on Wednesday, with no obvious signs of trauma.

Three Tremonton Garland police officers were shot while responding to a disturbance call in Utah on Sunday night, with one suspect now in custody.

The body of a 22-year-old student-athlete has been found after he drowned in a reservoir, Utah officials said. On Aug. 16,22-year-old Deng Ador was in Blackridge Reservoir with Sa Mafutaga, 21, when Ador began struggling in the water, according to a Facebook post by the Herriman City Police Department.

Authorities said the body had no visible signs of trauma and appeared to have been in the water for some time.

The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call Sunday, and a suspect was taken into custody, police said.
