Fairfield exploded for five runs in the top of the fifth inning to beat Hawaii in the Little League World Series.

Monday night is a big night for the boys from Fairfield. The red-hot Fairfield National Little League team is squaring off against the Midwest champions from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in the winner’s bracket of the Little League World Series.

The 2025 Little League World Series continues on Friday, Aug. 15 with four more games, each featuring a team that has yet to play at Williamsport, Pa. so far.

Honolulu, under the direction of manager Gerald Oda, is making its fourth appearance at the LLWS since 2018 during a dominant stretch.
