Alabama secured its highest-ranked commitment in the 2026 class Thursday when four-star rusher Ezavier Crowell, ESPN's No. 3 running back prospect and No. 2 recruit from the state of Alabama, announced his pledge to the Crimson Tide.

On Thursday, the Auburn Tigers received good news when they flipped 2026 four-star quarterback Peyton Falzone from Penn State. The good news did not continue later in the day when it pertains to the 2026 recruiting class.

Jackson 5-star running back Ezavier “EJ” Crowell made it official Thursday, committing to Kalen DeBoer and the University of Alabama. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound senior chose the Crimson Tide over Texas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Florida State and a host of other offers.
