The Arizona Diamondbacks enjoyed a boost to the lineup last night with the return of Gabriel Moreno. The veteran catcher was out for over two months with a broken finger. Moreno was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in the club's 6-5, 11-inning win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Chandler also secured a save, as he closed out the final four innings of the game, becoming the first Pirates player ever to do that in their debut. He also became the fourth MLB player to do it in their debut and the first MLB player ever that threw four scoreless innings in a save in their debut.

Braxton Ashcraft and rookie Bubba Chandler have led the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 9-0 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Ashcraft struck out six, allowing just one hit and a walk.
