Brentford have rejected Manchester United’s latest bid worth up to £62.5million for Bryan Mbeumo, the PA news agency understands. United are pushing to bring in the 25-year-old forward, having completed the capture of Matheus Cunha earlier this month.

Manchester United have failed with a new bid to sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, who is reported to have confirmed to all clubs involved in the transfer saga, including Tottenham Hotspur, of his continued desire to move to Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim reportedly wants a new striker, midfielder and goalkeeper after Mbeumo's arrival, with several players in the shop window to generate the required funds. However, United are said to have a £34million bid ready for the first of that trifecta of additions.
