The Cincinnati Reds activated right-hander Hunter Greene from the 15-day injured list Wednesday. Chase Burns was originally slated to pitch the series finale, but the Reds have not yet announced what’s next for the rookie.

Hunter Greene has made a successful return to Cincinnati’s rotation, pitching six sparkling innings in an 8-0 victory over Philadelphia.

The Reds still trail the New York Mets for the third and final wild-card spot in the National League and have their work cut out for them.
