Chelsea are reportedly working on a deal to bring Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United to Stamford Bridge, with hopes of securing the winger for around £35 million. United had initially valued the 21-year-old at £70m earlier in the summer but are now said to be willing to accept closer to £50m.

Garnacho’s apparent refusal to entertain other offers undoubtedly works in Chelsea’s favour. United have already settled for a loan exit for Marcus Rashford and may be forced to lower their demands to raise funds after spending over £200 million on the attacking trio of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly turned down the chance to bring Manchester United’s controversial winger Alejandro Garnacho to north London. Both clubs carried out extensive “due diligence” on the Argentine before deciding to pursue other attacking targets.
