NEWINGTON, N.H., (December 13, 2018) – SIG SAUER, Inc. is pleased to introduce the newest addition to the SIG SAUER Elite Ammunition product line – the high-performance M17 9mm +P ammunition.

The P320-M17 became the U.S. Army’s service pistol, replacing the M9 Beretta, after SIG Sauer was awarded the Modular Handgun System contract, and is now widely used throughout the U.S. military.

The Sig Sauer M17 is definitely a high-quality pistol and I sure do love it. I personally wouldn’t use it for concealed carry, but I like having it around the house and it’s a blast to shoot.

Sig Sauer’s announcement comes on the heels of the October delivery of the company’s 100,000th M17/M18 handgun to the U.S. military.
