Following the August 7 closure of the Paramount–Skydance merger, CBS Studios and Paramount Television Studios (PTVS) have finalized how they’ll split up their projects, setting the stage for the two entities to operate side by side.

The seven-year agreement announced August 11 will give the Skydance-owned Paramount exclusive access to all UFC events in the United States starting early next year, including 13 annual, numbered “marquee” events plus 30 so-called Fight Night bouts.

Skydance Media and Paramount Global have completed their merger, creating a new media conglomerate and ending months of turmoil over the deal that has drawn allegations of corruption directed at the Trump administration.
