Good afternoon, Chicago. A fourth person has died after a suspicious fire erupted at an apartment building in the Austin neighborhood yesterday morning, the Chicago Fire Department said today.

During his Senate confirmation hearings, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suggested he wouldn’t undermine vaccines. “I am not going to go into HHS and impose my preordained opinions on anybody at HHS,” he said. “I’m going to empower the scientists at HHS to do their job and make sure that we have good science that is evidence based.”

As part of his part of Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be in Baton Rouge Friday to join Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry for the signing of Senate Bill 14.
